Pastor Dan Gets Pied at Tools for Faith & Fun
Wednesday nights are Family Night at OBCC. Tools for Faith & Fun is a new program designed for families to learn about God together. We begin the evening with a family-style meal and table discussions, then move to activities, skits, games, and Biblical teaching, all centered around a specific theme.
This week's topic was money management from a Biblical perspective. At the dinner table, everyone was give three dollars (funny money, not real money), and challenged to multiply their personal wealth by earning money from other people in the room. The person with the most money at the end of dinner won the privilege of hitting Pastor Dan in the face with a pie at the end of the evening. Kids scrambled from table to table earning money by clearing plates, giving back rubs, singing songs, giving kisses and hugs... They were very creative!
Eddie Mason & Jessica Martinson tied for the prize at $45 each. Here's what Pastor Dan looked like afterwards:

Sorry you missed the fun? Join us every Wednesday night at 6:30 for an evening of family fun. (The grown ups seem to be enjoying this program as much as the kids!) Dinner costs $3.00 per person, but kids under 12 eat for free.
